Terms of Service

Flash Drive Contractor Platform · Last updated: [FILL IN DATE]

These terms govern your use of the Flash Drive contractor platform, operated by [YOUR REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us"). By using the platform you agree to these terms.

Who can use the platform

You must be at least 18 years old, legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom, and have a valid UK driving licence to register as a courier. Managers must be a legitimate UK delivery contractor business.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (email/password for managers; business code + contractor ID + PIN for couriers) confidential. Notify us immediately at nrematco@gmail.com if you suspect your credentials have been compromised.

Honest use

You must not: submit fraudulent screenshots or counts, reuse old screenshots, claim deliveries you didn't make, abuse the application form with fake submissions, or attempt to access data belonging to another business. We use technical fraud-detection measures (image hashing) and reserve the right to suspend any account engaged in misuse.

Pay and invoicing

Pay rates are set by your manager (the contractor business) and shown in your dashboard. The platform calculates earnings automatically from your submissions. Manager-issued invoices are the formal record of pay due. Payment from manager to courier is settled outside the platform via the manager's preferred payment method.

Self-employment

Couriers using the platform are self-employed contractors and not employees of [YOUR REGISTERED COMPANY NAME]. You are responsible for declaring your income and paying your own tax and National Insurance to HMRC.

Your data

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Documents you upload (proof of address, driving licence, delivery screenshots) are stored privately in Supabase and only your manager can view them.

Service availability

We aim for the platform to be available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network issues at our hosting provider, or your own connectivity may cause occasional downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to £100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost earnings due to downtime, or data loss not caused by our gross negligence.

Account termination

You can delete your manager account at any time from Settings. Couriers can request deletion through their manager. We may suspend or close accounts engaged in fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms with reasonable notice.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
